For over 140 years, Lady Liberty has stood in New York Harbor with her torch held high, welcoming millions of families to our shores. This 14-page curriculum tells her story to our youngest little patriots. It covers where she came from, what she represents, and why she has become one of the most beloved symbols of our nation.
Each page shares the history in a manner in which they can understand. They will learn about France's birthday gift to America, the pennies schoolchildren sent to build her pedestal, and the families who cried when they saw her torch for the very first time. Read one page a day or spread it all out on a Saturday morning around your kitchen table.
This curriculum is carefully written for ages 3-7.
The Statue of Liberty Curriculum will be emailed to you upon check out. There will be absolutely no charge when checking out!
